Our Story

Up to this day, the residents of the Gaza Strip live in the region, where socioeconomic concerns, health conditions, food supplies, education, and living conditions are all deteriorating, pushing them into poverty and making Gaza the continuous disaster zone.

Donation Gaza is a charitable organization founded in 2024 by a group of volunteers and social activists to ease the suffering of Gaza residents. Our main office is in the UK, with an executive office in Gaza. All donations raised and received will be sent directly to Gaza.

We fund various sustainable development projects, including schools, health facilities, public facilities, poultry farms, community water solutions, education, clothes, and rehabilitation assistance for the psychological trauma and torture caused by the continual daily attacks.

Women and children are particularly supported through various empowerment programmes, which give them the opportunity to sustainably support themselves.

Our Projects

We support long-term development programmes for the community, which has been traumatised and tortured by the continual daily attacks.

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are severely disadvantaged, with the vast majority living in poverty and slightly under half unemployed. Access to healthcare and medicines is nearly difficult due to restrictions, ruined hospitals, and people’s inability to afford treatment.

Donation Gaza helps to give healthcare and medicine to the most vulnerable and displaced people.

During Ramadan, many families could not afford to break their fast, or the food they did have was nearly impossible to cook due to electricity, coal and gas restrictions.

Every day, Donation Gaza provided prepared meals to the impoverished, elderly, and displaced.

Donation Gaza has expanded its orphan sponsorship programme to cover children suffering from severe medical illnesses. Most of these children were born with disabilities, but an increasing number are coming to us with medically produced conditions as a result of war. These children are cared for in a loving and safe atmosphere by trained medical personnel.

Sponsorship offers critical medical treatment, which in some cases saves the children’s lives or improves their quality of life.

Zakat Al Maal is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is an Islamic requirement for every Muslim to donate 2.5% of their whole wealth to the Muslim community in need around the world. Zakat can be paid at any time of year, although many people prefer to pay their Zakat Al Maal during Ramadan.

Zakat Al Fitr is a compulsory payment due before the end of Ramadan. Zakat Al-Fitr is delivered to the underprivileged and needy through our office in Khan Yunis. The minimum amount owed is the equivalent of around 2kg of food staples such as wheat and rice, which is approximately $10 per person.
